RAULSTON WOODS AND GARDENS

Where Your Love Becomes Part of Something Lasting

A historic farmhouse and gathering place, built by generations before us—now ready to hold your story.

Long before weddings were celebrated here, families built their lives on this land. They cleared these fields, raised these walls, and created something meant to last.

Raulston Woods & Gardens is where those stories are honored

and where new ones begin.

Around here, nearly everyone has a connection. A grandfather who worked the land. A family who once called this place home. A piece of history that still lives on.

A special land to honor your legacy and take your place in it’s history.

Raulston Woods and Gardens’ historic home was built by hand, with four bedrooms and two baths. Here mornings begin slowly and stories are shared long into the night. A full kitchen with commercial appliances and outdoor gathering spaces make it as functional as it is meaningful.
The spacious gathering hall is designed for celebration, complete with a built-in bar, sound system, and projection screen.

Laughter echoes and memories are made.

Fields, orchards, wooded hideaways, and quiet creekside knolls present ceremony space that feels both natural and deeply personal.

Tucked away in the woods, a private retreat for your most intimate moments hosts our elegant bridal quarters featuring a jacuzzi tub and private deck. It’s own outdoor entertaining space is the perfect place to prepare for your special day with your best friends and family.

More Than a Wedding Day

There is something powerful about standing in a place your ancestors once stood.

About taking a photograph beside something they built—
and knowing that image will be passed down for generations.

Weddings here are not just events.
They are continuations.

A way to honor where you come from…
while creating something your children will one day cherish.

About Us

Raulston Woods and Gardens was born out of resilience, creativity, and family. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to close the doors on our business in Alaska, we—Tab and Sarah—chose to start fresh in Tennessee with our two children by our side. What began as a simple dream soon grew into a family-owned wedding venue surrounded by nature, history, and heartfelt craftsmanship.

Alongside building Raulston Woods and Gardens, we discovered a passion for woodworking and furniture making. We especially love giving new life to wood that would otherwise be discarded or burned—transforming it into one-of-a-kind pieces that carry stories, memories, and sentimental value. Every table, arch, and handcrafted detail you’ll find at our venue has been made with care and creativity, often with the help of our kids, who jump in whenever they can.

Today, Raulston Woods and Gardens is more than just a wedding venue—it’s a place where family, artistry, and community come together. We take pride in being completely family-owned and operated, offering couples and visitors a space filled with authenticity, natural beauty, and meaningful craftsmanship.
